and we blame the symptoms on players and coaches

we need a czar to at least cut our jock-sniffer owner out of the processes

there are alot of good peices and alot of Ireland turds to pinch off

What has Ross done other than hire the GM and coach? Ireland was already in place when he bought the team...he held on to him too long but Ross wants to win as bad as any of us. You think he's happy about a franchise that's losing it's fan base and losing money? Don't think you become a billionaire like that. We'll see if Marino has any advice for him going forward.

Ross screwed up by keeping Ireland when he fired Sparano; it should've been a full house-cleaning. Then, to make matters worse, he hired Philbin. I hope Ross realizes that he just wasted the past 3 years, and if he wants to see his team in the playoffs before he dies he'll can Philbin and his staff as soon as the last game is over.

in the real business world there is a CEO, a CIO, a CMO, a COO, a CFO(these terms will be lost on you). Why? because the stakeholders demand expertise. what the **** does Ross' happiness have to do with success? seriously. I can't play guitar, should I produce the next Black Keys album?

He extended both Sparano and Ireland so lets quit acting like he was stuck with those guys. All NFL owners are rich and they are not all good owners

Ross is not the disease, he is the owner. He has shown a willingness to shell out the money and seek advise.
In real estate, he is a very smart man. As an owner, he has came a long way.
Still a work in progress. Canning Ireland and hiring Hickey was a major step.
Although this team is collapsing down the stretch yet again, mainly due to devastating injuries in an already weakened and thin depth.
Hickey could not overhaul this roster in one season although he did make us into a playoff contender. Unfortunately the injuries piled up and here we are.
Ireland wasted years as the GM and left a team that needs 3 years to rebuild.
Ross made the right move which was firing Ireland. Hickey needs a couple of years to get this turned around.

Wanting to win and being successful in real estate doesn't mean he has a clue about running a sports franchise. And he's done plenty of damage with the GM and head coach. He kept Ireland too long. He botched the Harbaugh thing so horribly he actually extended Sparano only to part ways with him partway into the season. He hired Philbin, which looks like a bad move. And, at least according to reports and speculation, we have trouble hiring people we really want for some positions ... it seems pretty likely because they don't want to work for the organization he owns. I think those things have contributed mightily to situation the Dolphins find themselves in today ... a ship without a rudder.

Also, he was a Jets fan. That in itself should make you question his judgment, sanity and morality.

we need willingness to shell out money and not have man-crushes on losers like Ireland and Philbin

Ross is no different than Jerry Jones. Kraft is the same except that he found a czar whose teets he could suck.

My dream owner would not be a jock-sniffer, I wouldn't want to see his ****-face near our HC until we won a game that mattered.

Seriously he got too close to Ireland and Philbin and now we have this. Also totally ****ed up the Sparano thing, so embarassing.

Willingness? seriously? would you hire someone based strictly on their willingness? if so you shouldn't be allowed to run a hotdog stand

Our problems remain the same. OL cant get the job done in the end and defense folds up by seasons end. Dont run the ball with authority. Anyone notice that Peyton manning has bought in to running the ball with authority after a shelacking vs. NE?

Ireland turds? whatever. stop blaming the guy who no longer is here. Joe Philbin is the next in line. accept it. move on.

All in for Rex Ryan as long as we can keep Lazor. Not likely to happen though.
