I think Ireland put a playoff team together with a second year qb not easy. If we win won of our past two games we make the playoffs sadly some of you will be happy when Ireland is fired but we will still have joe
 
6 playoff teams are being led by 2nd or 3rd year QBs. We just got beat by a rookie QB. What the **** are you babbling about?

Neglected an offensive line that many outsiders could see was going to be a problem this past offseason.
Started the season with a basket case at LT (which was known) had options to fix it.
Signed a 60 million dollar Ted Ginn
Downgraded our LB's for no apparent reason, we'd be a better football team with Dansby and Burnett and if Ellerbee and Wheeler are long term answers get ready to not make the playoffs for awhile.

I'll give him the benefit of the doubt of the minimal impact made by draft picks as I know it takes as while to judge a draft.

I fell Ireland should be canned ASAP and the new GM should have the power to keep or fire Joe.

I think signing Wallace was a good move, he just failed to realize that his starting QB can't throw an accurate ball beyond 15 yards.

Are you joking? Ireland gave a 5mil. contract to the bum Wheeler.:hsmash:
 
The main issue here is the Oline. Ireland did nothing to address this and made our defense weaker by adding Wheeler and Elerbe. That were complete misses. Ireland is the last turd of the Parcells error and needs to be flushed.
 
Are you kidding me did you watch those 2 linebackers he brought in they were an absolute downgrade over what we had last year Ireland is the problem. I have been a fan for over 30 years and this guy totally disgusts me with the moves he has made. Mike Wallace for one, he is not a #1 receiver, he hates contact and never goes after the ball with his hands it seems to always has to fall right into him. Now we are tied up with his salary cap numbers for a time to come. I do agree that Philbin shows no emotion and it seems to carry over to the team. I would like to see at least Sherman and Coyle gone. Sherman is retarding the growth of our offense because he is so pig headed...do us a favor and retire, GreenBay didn't want him.
