Ireland didn't see a huge difference between R. G. III and Ryan Tannehill

GM-speak. Plain and simple.

Unless you honestly expect him to saw "heck yea, RGIII is so much better than Tannehill".

It still surprises me how easily the drama train runs around here. He nails a great draft, on paper at this point, and wins the support of the fans. Only to have them turn on him when he's saying what needs to be said about HIS PLAYERS that he just hand picked.

He's being loyal to his players and you guys throw him under the bus. Get real.

everybody thought all the QB's drafted before Marino were better.

imo there is only one thing rg3 is better at and thats the deep ball, other than that i would probly give tannehill the edge in most things. rg3 didnt make as many error throws as tannehill ether. but there isnt a huge difference imo

I didn't like RG3 as a prospect but I know I'm in the minority.

I like him if his Oline can keep him off the turf and that they won't do so he will be pummeled before he ever gets going - he should have a very short career unfortunately the Skins gave up way to much in that transaction

Not an Ireland fan but I definitely like the fact that he is confident in the decisions he has made....there aren't any guarantees in football but believing in your decisions as a GM is a good start for this season

Those who are knocking him, apparently don't understand the english language. He didn't say they were equal. He said there wasn't a lot of separation between the two and that is an aknowledgement that RGIII was graded higher. He has likely spent hours and hours breaking down each play that these guys played. I can't say that I disagree with him.

Well it really doesn't matter now, does it?

I'm in the minority, not been a Robert Griffin fan. I don't think there's any separation at all, or rather it's separation between Tannehill on top and Robert Griffin in trail. I don't actually believe there's all that much separation between Griffin and Russell Wilson.

If I'm wrong, I'm wrong.

Like he has a choice. He's married to that pick now.... Hell I give the pick an A- just because Mrs. Tannehill is Hot as sh*t.

Glad we draft Tannehill and hope to see him play this year if OL is good enough to protect him. He will be the best QB we have had since Marino 13 years ago.

Is that like saying my second wife is better than my first wife?

Didn't the Dolphins at one point give a call to the Rams about the price for their second pick? I'm assuming they would have taken RGIII had they moved up... I'm all to T-Hill and now glad we have him, I also like Jeff (I know I'm in the minority here) as a talent evaluator. It just seems as though Jeff is saying to much to make himself look good. He should just come out and say "I'm happy with what we got in the draft" and leave it at that.
