Ireland is gonna look like a genius.

Sorry , i just like all the move's Ireland is Making. If next year is crap because of it i will say to everyone I WAS SOOOOO WRONG!. But alot of the fan's calling for Jeff's head are the same one's that said HENNE IS THE FUTURE! and my god i had to hear that for the past 3 year's. Oh, and i get blasted by almost everyone for my dislike of that guy lol

Look man, don't put words in my mouth. I supported a positive post while pointing out that it doesn't take long for someone to flood it full of negativity. PERIOD

I disagree it's not the QB situation that will get Ireland fired (which will ahppen eventually) but it's the fact of how he generally is running this team. Hasbeens and taking years and years to fill positions of which are still not filled, whether in FA or the Draft. OL was a priority and we made 2 first rd picks for one and we're still weak and looking for upgrades, wait, not upgrades but more fillers in which we will still be looking again for next season .............same with DB's, S, TE, now we will see about a top grade WR........

HOW COME SOME OF YOU CAN'T SEE THIS...it's so obvious......

Dreaded with all due respect......Sports forum, thats were fans come to express opinions, vent, bring updates, and debate....

why the shock at fans disagreeing ! EXCLAMATION POINT
 
I don't think Smith would have the same success here as he did last year. I think that was a one year wonder and he was being coached up by an enthusiastic Harbaugh. Flyn who knows unproven. Garrard he has done some things though injuries and age are concerns. This just might be the year the dolphins draft a qb in the 1st round. Hearing Jeff's comments he almost backs himself into a corner to take a qb early. :confused:

Matt Moore was a success last year. No he's not elite, but he did finish with a higher QBR than any QB drafted last year. I'm only calling him a success b/c he went from being a back up to ranking 12th. For Moore to be the long term answer he has to improve this year. Like it or not that was a very good signing by Ireland.

Good point

Im not saying its good or bad but Philbin was not their first and probably second choice maybe not even 3rd I don't know. If Philbin is successful and considering him having to work with what Ireland gives him (as you also expressed) we all should give Philly a huge amount of credit .....I see this with Ireland as the odds have to favor one at some point and I'm hoping "Luck" finally came our way and dropped a talented HC in our laps.....only time will tell that one, but at this point we should look at it as a very positive move, I hope I hope

Actually if you look at what Ireland has done in the draft, he really has done well. Only a few homerun picks, and no QB, but the draft is not where this team will fail from.
 
Ireland will be responsible for this coaching class we just brought in which is outstanding by the way. This whole site was rolling the FO's wind chimes in their mouths 2 months ago when our coaching staff was being built.

So ireland doesn't pay a huge contract to the human bobble head doll and doesn't pay top dollar for flynn who is NOT better than Moore. He realesed Bell when we have plenty of youngsters to fill his spot at strong safety to free up a ton of cap room and everyone is calling for his head. Also, the Marshall release was great, this guy will be be behind bars one day. Let's see what we can get out of the draft and be patient here please. Cooler heads always prevail.

And Moore still has a ton of upside...He was a great signing by Ireland.
