Terrific news to end an already good day for the Dolphins.

http://blogs.palmbeachpost.com/thed...eland-were-not-looking-to-trade-ronnie-brown/

As he discussed the Dolphins’ first day of the draft, GM Jeff Ireland put an end to the idea the team is interested in trading Pro Bowl RB Ronnie Brown.

Ireland said he’s not sure how the notion began that Brown was on the trading block.

But if Brown was available to another team, he’s not anymore.

“We’re not looking to trade Ronnie Brown,” Ireland said tonight. “You can write that.”

Awesome news! Puts an end to the stupid notion that we would be trading our Pro Bowl running back.

Wish he had put an end to the stupid notion of drafting Pat White at 44.

You already down on a pick less than 24 hours after it was made?

How about giving the kid a chance to, you know, play...before passing judgment on him or the organization.

P.S. I am as surprised as anyone and I'm not sure that it was the best way to use the 44th overall pick, but I'm not going to be pass judgment until he (and our other picks) hit the field and play for a while.

Yea we should never have opinions on players. How dare I not like drafting Jamar Fletcher in the first. How dare I not like the Beck pick. I should wait two more second round quarterbacks into the future and dislike the pick.

Im sure you never think a draft pick is the wrong one. It must be great to never have an opinion except wait and see, that way you can never be wrong.

Thank god now people can stfu !!!! i just hope when he has an awesome year next year that the same people who were talking **** on this forum saying that we should trade him don't jump on his bandwagon !

It's one thing to say that you don't like a pick.

It's another to denounce it as foolishness and more or less come to a final conclusion before the guy ever steps foot on a field of play.

But then again, what do I know.

Already knew Brown wouldn't be traded. But thank god Ireland came out and cleared it up, because there are actually idiots who bought into Ronnie Brown being traded.

I cant wait to see both Ronnie Brown and Pat White running that wildcat. Both have immense talent and its gonna be fun seeing how they are both utilized in what has become such a great and potent offensive formation

Have you ever been wrong? Or has EVERY guy you liked turned out to be great? Or as everyone you hated turned out to be bad?
