This is the clever part. From what I have heard, The 28 million dollar bonus that Indy must give Manning must be given by March 8th. So either they cut him by that date or they will have to pay some serious $. So we will know going into the free agency period whether Manning is free, healthy, or not.

i don't consider Laurent Robinson as a big name either. thing is, we'll probably have to upgrade over Brian Hartline. i think Manningham or Meachem both qualify

If we allocate our free agency space on P. Manning, that $15 million will probably be gone just by signing him to be our next QB. I think if Manning is healthy, that would be ok going all on and getting a QB who can help us win a SB.

Yes I forgot Burnett and Moore. This year free agency will be much different IMO. We will be go after some big guys but the reason I think it's different is because I could see players wanting to play for us with a new staff that seems like a good one!!!

If we make a splash with Manning then I doubt we can get anyone else under the cap....if is Flynn we might be able to add 2 more as long as we don't get Soliai or Langford or Bell.
