we all know Parcells took responsibility for white but we dont know if that was based on info from ireland and will never know. We have no clue who was in on the pick

Actually before that draft, there was an article that said a few years earlier Parcells had fallen in love with what he saw of Pat White, and when we were going into that draft, I knew that if there was any chance of taking White, Miami was going to take it because of how Parcells felt about White.

Still no basis to know what Irleand thought of White and he has never came out and said he was against the pick. I seriously doubt anybody associated with the dolphins had a problem with the pick. Everyone was so convinced the wildcat was the way to go.
