Ireland speaks on Tannehill

Ireland will do what Ireland does and stick to his risk/reward value chart, he will not take a long shot. Tannehill at 8th depends on the first 7 picks in the draft, if the right 7 don't come off the board there is no Tannehill in Miami.

Which isn't the end of the world if Ireland goes after a Weeden, Wilson or Osweiler but it will not help the fan base put down the pitch forks and torches.

Nothing is going to do anything to stop the pitchforks and torches except winning.

Not a big fan of Ireland's, but I do like what he said.

I disagree with Florios 7 elite payers. I would efinitely consider Kuechley elite over Blackmon and RGIII. If Luke falls to eight I would hope Ireland selects him.

Kalil is not elite either. He is being pushed up draft boards because he is the top LT...but he got beat A LOT this year. He is no Jake Long or Joe Thomas

This draft is more unpredictable than any other I've waited for. There's a case to trade up, a case to trade down, there will be good WRs, OLBs, Tannenhill, OT/OG when we pick - I hope we choose wisely.

Only two picks we know for sure are the top 2 with luck and griffin everything else is fair game.

What the hell would Ireland know about drafting an elite qb lol

and that is the problem unfortunately that Miami is in right now. Unless the team goes 10+ wins it isn't going to be good enough. It remains to be seen if Ireland can pull the team out of this trend but I can tell you one thing, Jeff is going to have to balls up and take a few long shots if he wants to make an impact.

I'd rather lose my job and gambled big a few times than lose my job by averaging my way through things.

If Ireland doesn't get Tannehill or Weeden he's going to get fired. Any fool knows Ireland has put himself into a corner, and nobody should feel sorry for him, or trust his "convictions." They've been proven wrong over and over again.

He's really banking on a run to the playoffs with Moore and our collection of bum Wide Receivers? That's 5 - 11 written all over it.

Ross won't be able to justify bringing back Ireland, the architect behind 4 straight losing seasons. Maybe we'll finally have a chance at a franchise guy next year with Barkley.

Ireland said "Good family background." Honestly, that gave it away that he wants Tannehill.
