Ireland was right????

Thinking about Cam Newton....2nd year.....3rd year....

bring Mike Shula in.

Long has a major injury, ACL on the knee, so that big investment for St. Louis now looks very bad. Long is injury prone, and good thing Ireland did not give him the money while he was playing for us and let him taste Free Agency.

OK I'll give you that. Now he's 1/50. Check out the 2013 draft dude. Go through it pick by pick and then after you throw up come back on here and tell,us what you think.

i always laugh at people who judge the draft after one year… are they off to a good start no.. but we have to have just a lil patience.. I'm willing to bet a lot of you nay sayers were saying the same thing when we drafted Clay, Jones, Carroll , Matthews , Discovering Acorns like Brenner, Shelby, etc.. some of you still don't ilke Tanny SMH.. i will say this Ireland has unreal success with late round picks.. he seems to get good to decent players where most teams get no production from.

Your 1st and 2nd rounders should be starters or at least major contributors--they weren't. We have to hit on those. I think Dion Jordan is a good player but not necessarily a good fit for our scheme--he played what 25% of the snaps? Neither Taylor or Davis played any meaningful minutes at CB. Dallas Thomas, our 3rd round pick didn't get a snap with all the mess on our o-line? Jelanie Jenkins--who is he? I like Dion Sims. Gillislee, don't think so. Sturgis was great on kickoffs, shaky on fgs and we probably should have kept Carpenter. Don Jones was the last pick so don't expect anything from him. Free agents. Wallace hasn't delivered, Wheeler has been terrible, McKinney has been a good stopgap. I like Ellerbe, and Grimes has been fantastic. I don't care if Ireland can find one acorn under a rock in the 7th round, he needs to hit on our top picks and he has failed miserably. If you look at who we SHOULD HAVE drafted instead of the John Martins and Egnews of the world you'd be really sick. That's it in a nutshell. The biggest free agents we need in the offseason is a new GM and O-coordinator.

Jump on the draft Eric Ebron bandwagon!

So, if you want to count injuries...then he ****ed up on Keller...didn't he???

Stupid ****ing thread....

Really? Philbin hasn't come close to replicating Sparano's first season and has only exceeded Sparano's last season by 2 wins. Is that really that much progress?

People around here don't like to give meatball credit for anything, but he did a masterful job coaching that first season. After starting 0-2, he adjusted schemes to better suit his personnel, something Philbin has been incapable of. He also oversaw a group that was the least penalized in NFL history. That showed discipline.

We also committed the least amount of turnovers ever or close to it.

Jones? You mean the one year wonder? Good contract extension Ireland! Carrol isn't a starter on most NFL teams, has terrible hands and bad ball skills, decent cover guy. Are you really going to bring up Brenner after a couple games? What exactly does Shelby do? He's a serviceable player, decent depth.

This is great. Now we are talking about Jake Long. A player who is no longer a Dolphin while the present Dolphins are having their own problems here. Nice job. SMH Unbelievable.
