Isn't it funny how the Phins are finally winning the close games in December? It used to be that we would always start strong and fade in the end. Now, well this season, they had a bad start and are finishing strong. I haven't looked it up but it seems like forever since they won 3 games in December. I think they won 2 two years ago but never 3. Hopefully under Saban that late season swoon will be forgotten and we can go back to being perennial contenders.

At the end of the game, they said it was Miami's first 3 game win streak in December, and Miami's 4th win in a row. The CBS announcers said this, but of course we can't always believe them.

I didnt watch, (there never on in RI anymore, usually only against the now hated Pats), so I didn't hear it. Thanks though, I feel somewhat happy to still know something about my team.

What's impressed me of late has been our ability to stop the others team offense late and score when we need to in the fourth. That is contrary to what had been happening the last few years. Saban's focusing on the "Process" I suppose.

They said it was Miami's first 3 wins in December since 1987. Don't really know how accurate that is, but it sure seems that long.

Yeah, that is something I have been noticing and it has been great. I love how our offense as of late has been consistent in answering right back when momentum swings in the other teams favor. That Ricky run today was great. And this really started happening against the Raiders, obviously against the Bills, and somewhat against the Chargers.

The whole Miami can;t win in december stigma is what I think Saban has dubbed "piosonous" in the thinking process. I doubt he addresses this as some kind of achievment b/c it's all a part of just focusing on the next play and not getting bogged down in looking at the scorboard, allowing the "rivalry" mentality to take over, or thinking the Dolphins can;t win in December.

We can, we did, and I think we will continue to do so in the future.

Is good to see them win at anytime in the year...this is gonna be an even better team next season....we're gonna win the division and the superbowl in 2007
