We won a lot of close games against average to bad football teams. We were not a dominant football team by any means but we knew how to win. We are the defending AFC champs but that doesn't mean anything going into next season. I honestly dont think we on the same level as Pitt, Tenn, Carolina, Indy, and New England. We are going to have our hands full we just have to wait and see how this team improves in it's second season.

We will win the Superbowl

obviously

Not many people thought we would be much better than 1-15 last year. I think with Pennigton having a year exprience and the nice additions on offense and defense we are a better team, but we also have a really tough schedule. I think 9-7 is pretty realistic but it is hard to say with four months to go before the season starts.

Let the cards fall where they may......i believe we have improved our team and the culture and have turned the corner on learning to win games instead learning to lose them. That is one of the many reasons i BELIEVE in this team and that they will post a winning record this season despite statistically toughest schedule in the league.

We everything will depend on just how good front office did with the draft. With drafting of some corners and wide receivers hopefully we come out a little better than last year. As far as play wise. Personally I have my doubts about using the wildcat so much. And I do not see Pat White being as big a factor in it as some hope. I think our best player in it is Ronnie. he does a good job.

Now with Ronnie teams were figuring out how to play it. And I do not forsee Pat making all these plays. Teams were figuring it out with Ronnie. Yeah Pat may have some early success. But things will cool down just as they did with Ronnie.

personally I would like to see a more conventional offense. because the wildcat really should not be an every down play kind of thing. it should be used to catch teams off guard.

I'll give you Pittsburgh and Tennessee but Carolina and Indy we should defeat by more than a touch down and the Cheaters are fading; with or without Brady and none of their draft picks will help them this year.

Dolphins are the returning AFC East Champs and the Dolphins have a vastly improved secondary,a vastly improved pass rush(Wake is the real deal),a vastly improved OL,an improved receiver corps, and an even more explosive offense with the inclusion of the WildPat formations.

Indy's coaching staff is in disarray and they did little or nothing to improve their team, they will not be the same old Colts, things have changed forever in Indy.

The Dolphins will run over the strongside of the cheaters defense until the cows come home, and Brady will find it a lot harder to move the chains against the new Dolphin secondary.

Dolphins go 12-4. No, a losing season is not even close to likely.

to be honest I really feel we as the fans (and only the fans) should give them a pass this year we leaped hard last year but it is not fair to expect them to completely turn a program that was 1-15 to a Superbowl contender over in 2 years but I would be very upset if we don't go at least 2 deep in the 2010 season.

Hardest schedule is the only thing standing in our way from being the new favorite team (falcons)

This regime is why I have faith. This team is a Team! They are not a bunch of premadona's. The management has a plan and are working it every day. They dont bounce outside the plan much.

The schedule last year was tough too. Why the entire league of reporters had us lucky to win 5 games against all those tough teams! The Buffalo Bills are going to go to the playoffs...thats what i remember hearing. I also heard Brett Farve Brett Farve Brett Farve all season and offseason long! The Pats were simply tooooooo damn good with Brady.

Everyone is betting on what their imagery in their heads is telling them. JUST LIKE LAST YEAR!

So be it! Cant wait til the games are played...because this regime has a plan!

ive got news for ya, if we win the SB, the talk will be poo poo all day long and then it wouldnt be long before they knock us down by saying that we will not repeat and how other teams dont even make it to the playoffs!

A losing record isn't an impossibility for any team. If things don't go Miami's way next season, sure, the record could end up with more losses than victories. Here's hoping not.

What makes you so sure that all of the above named teams are going to remain strong?
Everyone keeps referring to the Phins taking a step back. I can easily see Tennessee taking a step back. I think Indy has holes on defense and they can be beat by a big, physical ball control offense. I'm not sold on Carolina either, or the Pats for that matter.
I guess that's why they play the games.

No it is not that far fetched. We probably have the same chances of going 7-9 as we do 9-7, but that is what is so great about the NFL. Who the hell would have guessed that a 1-15 team could go 11-5 the nex season and make the playoffs? I like to think he will be a winning team next year and will be in the playoffs. Parity, gotta love it.

I think that like in any other year injuries and getting our rooks up to speed will be the big issues. Due to the tough schedule with many perennial tough teams, I would not be surprised with any result between 6-10 and 10-6.

Do I think we can get to the Superbowl? Yes, if we make the playoffs with our tough schedule I think we could go far. Do I think we could easily have a losing schedule (especially if we get bit hard by injury bug)? Yes. Do I think the Dolphins are getting better year by year? Yes. Do I like the direction the Dolphins are going? Yes.

Lets take it one game at a time:)

After we beat Atlanta we can talk some more:)

nothing is that far fetched in today's NFL. We se it season after season yet fans still act like there are things that are impossible.
