Is Adam Gase Eating His Own?

Adam Gase has laid the fault of Reshad Jones’ decision to ‘self-bench’ on the poor communication skills of Matt Burke.

This is his public stance amid the Jones ‘hush-hush’ mystery. It doesn’t mean that’s the reality behind the scenes.

At face value though, this isn’t a good sign for fans of the Gase regime… or Phin Fans. Usually, when a Head Coach sides with players over the coaches and shoving staff closer to the chopping block, they are near the end of their tenure.

Gase stated that the Dolphins will handle the Jones situation ‘in-house’ under a cone of silence. And yet, he publically throws his Defensive Coordinator under the bus.

Now, Burk is the closest to Gase on the staff. Maybe this is a case of Burke taking one for the team… and Gase?

Gase is strange dude I’m not a huge fan of his overall vibe. He seems pretty awkward and not very relatable from just a fans persepctive from afar. I think this job has been harder than he thought it would be he seems like he might have a nervous breakdown. I hope he can turn it around but I’m starting to get my doubts that he can lead an entire team of different personalities

Just spit balling, but is it possible that Jones' dismay is shared by others on the defense? I mean quitting on your team mates is not a trivial matter, but if others support him, as a leader, to take their grievance to Gase? Who, by all accounts, was oblivious to the whole situation.

well I want dolphins to win but I see same thing next yr if we keep thill17. 6 to 8 win . I don't see us change qb next yr. best case wildcard.

How many more of his former players will he bring till then ? So far we have Julius Thomas, Jay Cutler and Brock SMH.
