So with 4 years of drafting... you mention the number 1 pick overall, a center with 1 year of experience, a good corner....

then you mention Bess who WASNT DRAFTED.

And a part time DE who was missed an entire year (half his career) who might be good.


Forgive me if im not overwhelmed by Irelands fantastic drafting history. lol

dosent matter if Bess was drafted or not...he was a complete STEAL as an undrafted guy...and he got hurt...how is that his fault...seriously...and that part time player looked good last year in that rotation and if we go back to a 4-3 will take a NICE step forward...and if you go back, saying Long was the only "star" drafted is asinine...

Who was the franchise QB out there? Manning didn't want to come. Flynn took the highest bidder, he was any good Greenbay would have trdaed him, now Smith is a stop gap QB he isn't any good unless the players around him is winning the battle at their posistion. Every thing is not managements fault because they didn't get a certain player, and besides they only had 15 milllion dollars to grocery shop with in the first place.
