I would hope posters from other teams don't come to visit because it's embarrassing. I visit other boards and yeah posters sometimes they cry about their problems with their teams success, coaching and all of that, but in the end they support thier team and all get along. Nothing like this place.

Everyone has the right to their opinion, that's why this board exists. But for crying out loud it's the same DRIVEL and JIBBERISH over and over and over and over again and it just litters the threads and the posts. Are you complaining pansies even real Dolfans??? I wonder sometimes.

Case in point, I open a thread about Alex Smith coming in for a visit, and 3 posts later its already littered on how Ross and Ireland SUCK!!!! It's the same crap over and over and over and over and over again. It's not even original or creative.

Something tells me some of you posters were ignored by your parents. Good grief, I love this board but I would hate to think I was sitting next to some of these pathetic people when I go to games. I even wonder if they know the difference between a RT and a LG

You want some real advice? Don't like it? Don't come to this board. There's several other Dolphins boards on the internet, and I know for a fact one provides much of the homer atmosphere you're looking for. Good riddance. :3w:

And that top 10 defense means nothing. Not because it hasn't led to winning football games. But because our defense has been awful at getting takeaways. Oh, and it gets shredded to pieces by any team with a passing game. Great defenses take the ball away and stop the pass. Ours does neither. Great run defense does nothing for me in a passing league.

I don't think there is anything wrong with being upset with how little success we've had. I think there is a problem when you open the main forum and it's overrun with doom and gloom threads, when every single damn thread gets hijacked into another b*tch-fest, and people can't express a little optimism without being accused of being a pom-pom waver or homer by the pessimism brigade. I think that's where the frustration from the OP comes from. People who are willing to see some optimism in the Phins future should be able to express that sentiment without having their threads hijacked and called names...

I have a very good clue on your original post. You don't like the truth being spewed on this forum. So go. Get off this forum if you don't like it. As for making a dolt out of myself, that's what the rest of you "optimists" said last year, and the year before that, and the year before that, on and on and on. But my predictions of this team being ****ty and not making the playoffs have been pretty spot on, so take a look in the mirror.

Logic would suggest that if the team is doing well, then the fanbase is happy.

Therefore if the team are not doing well, especially for a sustained period and factoring in the teams once illustrious reputation, then most people are going to be unhappy.

Marshall and Wake are the only impact players they brought in, and Marshall isn't on the team anymore. Even Wake couldn't impact games last year because they failed to get him any help.

By impact, you mean what makes the highlight reel or what you see on the red zone channel. The players mentioned are starters in the NFL. And would start for a number of teams in the NFL. They are not a fantasy roster. Marshall is such an impact player but Fasano isn't? Fasano scored the same number of TD's over the last 2 years. Didn't have the same fantasy numbers though, did he.
