Is anyone else pissed off about Ricky?

You guys make me laugh. If at the end of the year he runs for 2000 and we go deep in the playoffs, I wonder how valuable your "standards" will be to you.

My prediction is you will all be hugging your #34 jerseys. I know I will.

Leave morals and values to the schools and churches of the land. This is sports. Modern day galdiators. It's all about winning baby and Ricky doubles our chance to win.

Sign him up.

there should just be one thread with all the ricky crap in it and then sticky it

no, not pissed at all.

let it go
I did let it go. Now he wants to come back?! Trade his *** for a copy of the Waterboy.

For as terrible as what Ricky did was, really do we have any other choice but to welcome him back? Drugs and his wacky mind aside, I actually did agree with his claims of Wannstedt overusing him and that the team wasn't going anywhere even with him (offensive line problems). Believe me I was pissed as hell when he left, but maybe he can help us, bottom line. Everyone on this posting makes it sound like Ronnie Brown is a lock for 1500 yards and 15 TDs. He's a rookie running back and even the great year LaDainian Tomlinson had in 2001 hit a bit of a rookie wall. Ricky wouldn't have to worry about being run into the ground all game. I almost cringed at the fact that Wannstedt was overusing him (I recall he was still in the 4th quarter while we were up 40-21 against the Cowboys on Thanksgiving 2003, just adding more carries to his total as I watched in disbelief. At least now we know that he can't be 100% trusted and that Ronnie always be our safety net. Hey Ronnie may still be the starter while Ricky complements, who really knows at this point. All I'm saying is that with Ronnie Brown already in place, adding Ricky can really only help on the field-wise. He won't be there for the first 4 games, he won't be the starter, and enough about this speculation. I'll believe it when I see him in training camp. Until then...lets just let it unfold.

week 5 of the season when he takes a hand off for aj and goes the distance
Week 5 Ricky will still be serving his suspension. 4 game suspension PLUS the bye week.

I think you meant all this Ricky crap will end.....Week 7, when Ricky takes a speciman cup from the nurse and tests positive for weed.

We have alot to thank Ricky for.Ricky Williams single handedly change our entire team for the better (coaching staff included) in perhaps the shortest time possible(1 year).

Wanny- gone,
Jay Fiedler- gone,
that stinkin OL- in the works,
that iffy 'good defence except when it counts'- in the works

all thx to Ricky.

Yup, like I said before things happen, look on the bright side of what he did. Life goes on and so does the NFL! We made the most of it!
