Before your heart starts racing because this is a negative Taylor thread and before you scroll down immediately to bash me just because of your robootic instincts towards anything that is negative towards Taylor, take the time to think and read, and respond with some good thoughts.

As much as I love Taylor on our team and as much as I hope he stays here for the rest of his career and has success, I am frankly sick and tired of his worthless remarks after a loss. Saying our team should play high school teams, we're the worst team in the league etc. I understand its frustrating, I understand its in the heat of the moment after some tough losses, but this man is looked at as a leader on this team. He needs to compose himself a little bit and stop spitting off ridiculous comments that will serve for nothing better than to discourage people and make us look like were on different pages. There can be nothing positive that our rookies and young guys can get from hearing this defetist garbage. Not to mention we're obviously no high school team and we're definetely not the worst team in the league, so these comments are unwarranted, unecessary, and if it was Matt Roth or Travis Daniels saying this crap, we would be up in arms...

Thoughts...

Uh. What should say instead? "We'll get em' next time." "We're making progress." "There were a lot of good things."

Jason has been the anchor of this defense for years now. He's had very little offensive help. He has every right to vent, just like we do on these boards. In fact, the players should take losses even worse than the fans.

...he speaks the truth. What would rather he say or do?

The truth? You think we would lose to ANY high school team in the country? You think were the worst team in the NFL, I sure don't. He can relay his frustration using other words. Im not saying smile and be merry, Im saying speak the real truth and show a little enthusiasm for the positives.

Taylor has made some comments about performance and not too much positive was said (or can be said). However, I believe if you read closely, the comment about playing a high school team was made by Zach and I think maybe the others came from Zach also.

They both said it, if you watch the interviews directly after the game (not the day after) Taylor goes into it a little deeper.

JT spoke the truth. It is embarrasing, we're not getting better, and we are terrible.

I thought that was Zach. Both JT and ZT have sweated blood for this team and just look at where they are. It's awful, when you have that much pride, to keep losing. Their dream of a Superbowl before they retire is just about gone. We'd have to really turn it around fast and right now I just don't see it. It's frustration talking! It's tough not to see their point.

Well said, agreed. I think they do have a right in being more upset than fans, and when I thought about it, if we are getting crazy on this board, they must be losing their minds...I think I stand corrected.

However, why not save the lashings for practice and the rest of the team or during a game, looking at reporters and blasting your team is never good.

He has a right to vent and be pissed as he's one of the few players that shows up week in and week out regardless of how he feels physically. If Taylor wants to say we suck, well guess want: We suck!!

Do you think he was being literal???

I'll bet he wasn't giving any rah rah speached after the Cleveland game last season.

Look, we are a bad team! You ARE your record and we are 1-5.

1-5 = BAD TEAM

I'm not saying we can't be better or turn it around (next year), but right now JT is right!!!

He has to vent somehow.

At least hes still a team mate. otherwise he would be calling out names and poiting fingers at the players who keep misssing the chance to be the turn around guy.

As hard as it seems, and even though its not easy to stay positive in this type of situation, at the end all they have is the team. They have to stick together. Even if we end up this year with no more wins. :boohoo:

I say rag all you want Jason and Zach. Part of me wishes that they would blow up on the other players and tell them how much they suck but T.O has shown us that does not work or help.

Both these guys have been on the field during some of the worst defensive performances in Dolphins playoff history.
62-7 Jaguars
27-0 Raiders
20-3 Ravens
37-3 Broncos
