Is anyone else sick today

It has been 30yrs. since we were last in a SB and 40yrs. since we last won a SB. I would say it has been 19yrs. since we put a team on the field that had the ability to compete in every game it played. I see the rest of the division(with the exception of the Jets, maybe) passing us as we slink back into the mediocrity and morass that has come to be a permanent fixture of this organization. I am hopeful that one day we will be able to be among the elite in the league, but I see nothing in the near future. As long as we have a clueless owner that hires losers as advisers and keeps incompetent coaches, I have little confidence that we are going to see any championships.

This is a really sh!#$y day!
 
It hasn't been 19 years. We just had a stupid coach who rode with his QB, wasting away what was a championship caliber defense.

Since our last playoff win, our division rivals have hoisted 4 SB trophies. Unreal.
 
Haven't and won't watch Sportscenter or any other sport show for at least a week! Can't stand to see them celebrating. Living here, it's a thousand times worse! Hell, I can hardly watch any channel for that matter.. It's everywhere!!!!
 
I learned a while ago that if Miami doesn't win, I could care less who wins. When Miami lost to Baltimore I knew that the season was over and kinda just moved on. I don't even really watch most of the regular season games that are on now. Back in the day I used to eat it up but now there's too much and it's over exposed. It's a nice feeling not really caring who wins and loses when your team isn't involved.
 
if philbin wasn't the coach I would be hopeful for this coming year but......

That is true. I think it pisses my Patriot fan friends off more now that I don't care than when I used to crap all over them. LOL. It's rather comical to watch them spun themselves around. I found out a long time ago it's not worth it to argue with them so I don't even bother.
 
I'm sick of the Patriots and their whiny fans. Scummy cheats get rewarded.

The last time the Dolphins were in a Super Bowl I was ****ting my diapers. I hope I won't be ****ting my diapers the next time the Dolphins make it there

Sad to say but it's going to be at least 2017 before we can hope for a serious playoff run. This team is going nowhere next year and will need at least 2 years under a new regime and staff to try and establish itself.

I never had confidence in Morano even though we did get to the playoffs one year. He ran a gimmick offense and the best thing he was good at was the fist pump. If you are talking about Dumbstadt, he was a joke. He hung his hat on a QB that could not throw the ball competently more than 15yds. down the field. This Jacka!@# hung Lobster traps in the lockerroom as a metaphor and his players asked why are there birdcages hanging from the ceiling. Jimmy could not get out of the way of his ego and wasted the final years of Marino's career. Yes, Dan had declined, but he would have been so much better if Jimmy could have gotten over the fact that he was more popular in South Florida than him.
 
Two feelings…

1. Still incredulous they did not run the ball

2. I wish my team would systematically put a team together to destroy the Patriots. I long for intellectual presence to match or supersede Bill Belichick. I long for a four man pass rush to kill Brady. I wish for a running game to punch New England in the mouth. I long for a receiving corp (which right now matches up with NE well) to blow by their clutch and grab CB's.

It baffles me that some people on this board truly believe that Philbin is an intellectual juggernaut on par or close to Belichick. When I see Philbin on game day, I see a man outwitted by practically every coach he faces. We desperately need a real HC.

For my money, the best HC in the league outside or BB is John Harbaugh. If only we landed him, but our owner doesn't have any foresight whatsoever

But that's the tito's, beer, buffalo chicken dip, ribs, guac etc making me sick.
I hated to see the Pats win again..But, I expected it.. In the words of my gf "Its just a game relax, and ur team wasn't even in it, don't get upset about things u cant control"
