His are the same size as Pat White's. (9 inches across)

The NFL football is larger then the college one.

And game balls are different from ones used at Pro days.

Michael Vick doesn't seem to have a problem throwing a NFL size football and his hands are smaller at 8 1/2".

Does it worry me...a little but not as much as will some others.

I brought this up several times on here and the fact that he would struggle especially in cold or wet weather games.

Marino also has small hands. It's preferable to have larger ones but technique and grip strength and good pocket movement can help mitigate this "deficiency."

no. he didnt have fumble problems, and thereare other qbs with smaller hands

I think that's for Cleveland to worry about not us. We either won't be able to pick him or we'll pass on him.

Ah, small but not as small as White's. Thanks, that does make me feel a little better.

Now if we can teach him not to give away games in the 2nd half and to throw a pass with a arc and he will not remind me so much about Chad Henne.

On one hand I hope he is our man and on the other hand he really scares me.

I completely understand how you feel.

His "small" hands didn't seem to work out too bad for him as a receiver, and we all know receivers have to have great hands to catch. So I see this argument as null and void.

He is arguably the best QB prospect this year in terms of pocket presence, so that helps

You counting Andrew Luck?

Tannehill throws too many interceptions in the 2nd half of games that his team are leading in to give me that much faith in him.

Unless you're incorrectly trying to say that they were caused by poor pocket awareness, I don't see what one has to do with the other? Tannehill does have great pocket awareness and feels the pressure coming...arguably better than Luck

Tannehill having small hands is a minor issue. His decision making, the type of ball he throws in crucial situations, and happy feet worry me more.
I would take him in round 2. He should still be sitting there IMHO.

White had alot more problems than just small hands...he was def a fish out of water....
