If Dallas lost tonight, this thread wouldn't of been made.

I am still wondering how you get "on" the finals, though. Is it an object?

Go USA!

Where is the, "He's an average coach with good player" option???

Avery has proven hes a very smart coach and his system works...but what has he won

The guys in his rookie year and has taken his team to the finals...5 other coaches have done the same thing in the history of the nba. Great achievement but the guys won nothing yet sorry. Greg Popovich or Zen Master is the best coach in the league

This guy was a diehard Pistons fan last week....and a Nets fan before that I think

His username should probally be changed to 'Anyone but the heat' if anyone was in the finals other than Dallas this thread would exist but with a different coach name

Avery Johnson is not even the best coach on his coaching staff...that distinction belongs to Del Harris.

You do not know if its the players that are good, because he hasnt been to any other team. Maybe if he leaves. And say goes to boston, and does poorly, and then leaves and goes to um, the clippers and he does poorly THEN. Maybe you can say its only cause of dirk

Avery isn't the best coach in his division. He hasn't won anything yet and the NBA is a players league their are only a few great coaches and eventhough Avery did a good job this season he isn't on the same level as Riley/Popovich/Larry Brown.

I think right now I would have to say the Suns head coach I think its Mike D'Antoni is the best. Look what he did without Stoudimire and what bench pllayers steeped up this year.
