I didnt seem like we had a chance with their starters on D in the game.

IMO, with Crennell in his second year, they will be a top 10 defense this year.

they had a good defense last year and im expecting them to be even better this year. their dline is very young, deep, and talented. plus with a guy like urlacher help too.

Lovie Smith.. Crennel is in Cleveland, first year.

I think it is a little of both, our line did look horrible though, I saw McKinney whiff a couple times, Carey too.

Err, I knew that :smackhead:, I know this is going to sound terrible but I get them confused...

We didn't have the best O-line play last night, but they do have a very good D-line. They have Tommy Harris, Tank, Adewale, and they were blitzing DB's and LB's.

True that.

gotta give Houck more time he worked wonders with San Diego and built that line with nothing he is building ours with some depth

Is it our O-line? LOL. What O-line? Watching them is giving me an ulcer. Seems the only way you'll ever get those 5 guy's to play....is to wipe meat over the defenders uniforms. Ya think?

hadnot just started playing center and they have been moving people around all training camp. we have barely just started training camp so give it a little time. i was a little upset that carey got used by ogunleye. but experience helps later. they were pretty aggresive for the 1st of 5 preseason games. if this was the 4th preseason game, i would be worried. but there still a ton of time to fix problems. that's what the preseason is all about. how many times have u seen a team have horrible preseason only to be good in the regular season. i saw some positives also in gillmore and diamond. that catch gillmore had was sick. doing a 180 and picking it off the ground. thompson had the droppsies again. if he catches that pass over the middle we might have been able to open up our running game but they were stacking. imo we will make people pay if they keep stacking unlike last year. once we settle on a 1st string line then it will be easier as season goes on. a lot of uncertainty right now.
