I dont think it really matters how he hurt himself. I mean, it might to the front office, but not to the team. The team needed him in a condition that was fit to play. How he hurt himself is irrelevant. If the FO wants to deal with it, they will. But the how's and the why's really do not matter at this point.

He hurt it playing Basketball. It doesn't even matter. He's gone for the year. Even if he can return in November, he'll be tenative with it and not play as well. Put him on IR now and let the guy from NFL Europe play and see what he can do. We have plenty of talent on the line. Someone wil step up.
