I'm not sure if he is.His injury is huge bigger than Dante's.Would Miami want to take a risk with brees?I believe Dante is a better option. All Dante needs his time to throw.Im off the Brees bandwagon hoping on the Daunte boat party.

I'm not sure we should be after either one of them. Brees has his shoulder problem which he could recover from but could get it reinjured easy enough as well as DC's Knee which I see as a bigger injury and even harder to recover from and even easer to reinjure, At first I thought it would be great to get real talent in here to through the bean around but these guys come with huge question marks.

Coach Saban has a plan, I will trust his Judgment just seemd scechy to me is all.

Go Dolphins

Lol good point i like Dante too. but who ever we get so be it just get bring home some rings.

He's a good QB, but IMO the price he's reportedly been asking-$10 million per-is a bit much for him.

Why is it so hard for people to understand that Culpepper had his knee shredded? All 3 ligaments were torn. All three.

Now the Vikes won't even let a team do a physical. Yet they want a high round pick.

That could leave us without a starting QB and the loss of a key pick if we took DC.

What is so hard to understand about this equation?

So you want a Qb that your really not sure about the extent of the injury and how serious it really is?I'm sorry but you saw what happened to Pennington injured his throwing shoulder and now look at him he is a scrub. So what Dante tore some ligaments look what happen to Marino.I'm just saying I rather take a QB that hurt his knee rather than a qb that has injured his throwing arm.

he is right in line with other hopes since Dan.

I agree. Without the injury he's worth $10 mil. But now he has to be offered an incentive laden deal.

Either QB is a risk with their injuries. After dealing with the fiasco from last year...this is a big test in Saban's willingness to gamble to get the franchise jump-started. Worse case...they give whichever QB some guaranteed money and if they can't play Gus steps back in, earn some incentives (after taking a reduced contract) the newly signed QB doesn't make incentives and we cut our losses at the end of the season and try again next year.

I would like to get either one, but I am also leaning towards a knee injury than a throwing shoulder injury. Who knows who will recover the best/fastest? I really wish we were showing more interest in McCown or Ramsey. I just feel they have alot of potential...more so with McCown. I know he got beat out by Warner and Ramsey didn't beat out Brunell, but with the right coach and system they both can be good if not better. I take either one over Gus in a second. To top it all off they are both healthy and are not coming off a major surgery of some kind. At least we are looking at Schaub now so maybe we will go in another direction.
