Ok last night this guy made Otah look like a college tackle i mean he abused him. And every time this guy is in he looks like he got held as he runs around the corner. He needs to see the field more IMO i dont mean like a majority of the snaps he needs to be in there more.

He has gone up against some good linemen and for basically being a rookie pass rusher he makes them look lost guy just looks unstoppable and i think Tackles dread when he is in the game.

I know he doesnt always get to the QB but his pressures them consistently and man just owns tackles more often than not.
 
No..., Wake got stopped in his tracks a few times but Otah is supposed to be good as a RT and Wake had his number all game and actually on the last play it looked like a good hold from Otah..., nonetheless Wake made the team right...!!!
 
wake was disrupting the pocket all night...even though he didn't show up as much on the stat sheet, there is no doubt his presence was felt by the panthers...

on both porter sacks, wake was right there...i also saw him getting held several times that went uncalled where he would have got to jake
 
shouldnt have wake gotten a half a sack for the first sack on dellhome along with porter? it seemed like he was in on it with peezy.
 
Wake has the potential to be 1 of the best pass-rusher in the NFL. Nothing less...
 
I have yet to see Wake get a sack from a 2 point stance tho..

I wonder if he is less explosive from it
 
i was pretty surprised by his bull rush last night. he drove Otah right back on a few plays. i knew he was very quick around the corner, but i didn't expect that. he still needs a counter move though. he's doing a good job on the arch. it would be nice to see him develop a swim move or maybe a spin. i don't want to be too critical though. he's our best pass rusher already IMO

He seems to be very good, although I only caught a glimpse of him in the first half. Is it just me or does he make you think a bit of lawrence Taylor, if not playerwise at least buildwise?
 
All I know is that I want him on the field more. I have seen nothing so far that should be limiting his playing time.

I agree and I don't think that's a fantasy. The dude is really something athletically and is playing with intensity and what seems to be "anger." He's developing into a "dangerous player" the opposition will be keying on because he can bust an offense up pretty damn good...
