I don't know if anyone has ever said anything about this, but now that we have Culpepper as our QB, do you think Chris Chambers can become the next 84 (Randy Moss)? If you ignore the height difference, he has shown potential with catches like the one-handed catch against the Bucs...

And that crazy leaping catch against the Titans...

I think he established himself last year as an elite receiver in the NFL. He can make the tough catches, he just has a problem with the easy ones. I think if he improves with the easy ones, he can definately be a Randy Moss.

we have talked about it on a few posts. most of them and i agree he will be close but more of his own type player. he will but up big numbers but i dont think he will ever be a big of a game breaker as moss. i love cc but the size hurts him. dont get me wrong he could and prolly will make more catches than moss and huge yardage but being the next moss is a little to much right now he will be in the pro bowl though!

all i'm going to say is that he is an awesome receiver and will probably be better than last year but only because the arm throwing the ball is better. nice vid & pic

He doesnt have the size.. but hey if he has the desire and the passion he can be better than Randy in a different way.

he cant be like moss theyre different types of players chambers is more of a route runner moss just runs straight and jumps up for the ball, i think chambers will be better than mossthis year and next year , moss dosnt go over the middle or run certain routes, he takes plays off a lot and hes just lazy with playing chambers plays a lot harder and that will make him the better of the two

His arms are almost as long as his legs!

The #84 in Purple made daunte, let's see if Chambers can help do that. Chambers has great ability which he finally put together last year, he needs to prove last year was not a fluke.

I gave him credit for an excellent last year BUT he has had one big season in 5 years so he needs to prove he is more like the big time WR we saw last year than the decent WR we saw the previous 4 years.

he'll be fine. there is finally some stability on the team in terms of coaching and offensive identity

I completely agree. He looked awesome last year. We'll have to wait and see.

One good season in five years is not bad when you consider he never had a QB worth a crap in all that time...

Big time WRs still produce no matter who the QB is. Keyshawn made Lucas look like an NFL QB in '99, when booker was good he had no QBs in Chi throwing him the ball, Fitzgerald was great w/ Warner/McCown last year, boldin was great w/ Blake in '03, holt was still great last year w/ Bulger only playing half a year,... Big time Wrs get it done regardless of who is in there.

Then i guess Coles isn't a big time receiver.
