Is Channing like a Ray Lewis???

I really don't know about the Ray Lewis comparison. But the boy sure has some intensity, and tears arounds the field.....from what I have seen.

He's no Ray Lewis but has a high motor and will turn out to be a steal, he has very good instincts and also is fast.

Hey guys I have happen to watch Crowder play a few times. One of those things. I put on TV and the Gators were playing.

He does remind me of Ray Lewis. I haven't seen ROTH play, but if he is meaner than Crowder? We have some bad asses on that team mentally. Throw BUA into the mix ( I hope he can become a John Lynch) and you have some bad dudes.

Crowder was as impressive in college as Lewis was. I don't know if he'll be as good in the pros, but certainly at the same point in their careers they are comparable.

Ok, up here near Philly we had the "Broad Street Bullies" for the Flyers back in the 70's. Didn't feel like playing the game but felt like kicking the crap out of everyone. I know it's not hockey but we should give Crowder, Roth and Bua a name that can stand out since these guys seem vicious themselves. Can't think of any off the top of my head, help me out.

Well, I think the best nickname in the history of NFL football could have come about if the Pats took Crowder at #32 as expected by many...

"New England Chan Crowder."

But, given that it didn't happen, I say Matt "David-Lee" Roth and Channing "Gun Powder" Crowder.

I can see Channing Crowder being the new progresso spokesman to promote their New England Clam Chowder.

Progresso needs someone to compete with Donovan McNabb and campbells and Channing Crowder eating New England Clam Chowder just has that magical ring to it.

OMG no u didnt, ray lewis? Not even jonathan vilma. Now vilma u can compare to ray lewis. Channing u can compare to a sam cowart. Lol

Vilma had a good year for you guys last year, but he is no where in the league of a Ray Lewis, or Zack Thomas. Hopefully one day Channing could be.

I also think either one of them could be named "The Wolf." Just a fast, tenacious animal that clamps on and doesn't let go... and if you watch how both of them tackle, it's pretty fitting.

When Ray lewis came out of college people would say that he is no lawrence Taylor or Mike Singletary or any other great proven NFL linebacker. But I think this guy has the potential to be one of those types based on how he played in college.

Crowder does remind me of Lewis with his style of play (not saying he'll be as good...I do hope though). He plays hard, makes plays sideline-to-sideline, and plays with a fury that many players cant even touch. He'll be a great addition to our team.
