The Jaguars Guard, Everyone Is Talking About Him, But I Dont Think Hes Available?

yes...the Jags released him about 3 or 4 weeks ago.

he isnt on the "free agents list" but the Jags let him go...coming off an injury and they didnt want to pay him when they have 5 lineman who did the job while he was hurt.

I think its a possibility, as is Jason Fabini, Floyd Womack and Tom Ashworth.

In fact, I would call Fabini a certainty to sign.

What do you think he will cost? and is he good?
most Jags fans know that he was an important cog in their run game.

he is very strong and has a mean streak...he is another one of those o-lineman from Hawaii (although he played college ball at Colorado). he plays with passion and would be a perfect mentor for Satale and other young lineman. the Jags have been one of the best running football teams for a long time...Naole is a big reason for that. of course having Fred Taylor and MJD doesnt hurt either!! but, Naole could very well be their best run blocker over the past 5 yrs.

I dont know what the cost would be...but he is coming off an injury which usually means you can get him cheaper now than usual...plus he is not a fa looking to cash in...he has been released.

of course, the way the money is now...he will get at least 2-3 million a year is my guess!

anybody know what his chances are compared to Fabini´s? Any info on Fabini, is he worth a look? Thanx

I consider Fabini a virtual lock. He is a Parcells guy, and followed him to Dallas. An underappreciated guy everywhere he goes, but a solid reserve. Probably best as just a swing tackle/guard (he can play both). Especially important if we fill the LT or LG (or both) spots in the draft; going to be a real young OL. The reserves would have to be vets like a Fabini, like a Pork Chop Womack, or a Naeole.
