The guy has been seen as an attitude problem in some stories, this maybe because he had to carry the team all year I can understand that, maybe its not true. The guy reminds me of a Marino-like arm, I am worried about the CHEMISTRY and COACHABILITY that make the best QB's. I may be all wrong, but the way he comes accross reminds me of Leaf. He probably will not be available at 16 anyway, but the things that fly out of his mouth may hurt him enough to be there. CROYLE in the 2nd! Huff or Moss in the 1st!
Whatever happens Saban knows what hes doing, I'll trust his decision. :dolphins: :dolphins: :dolphins: :dolphins: :dolphins: :dolphins: :dolphins:

where did you read these character issues? where ever you did, stop reading it, cause they dont know what their talkin about.

Where are you getting this stuff? You've been saying this crap in numerous threads all day, yet have provided zero reasoning behind it.

I haven't really heard of any character issues but when he played UF he was giving the ref a dirty look on the OT coin toss.He was mad because Vandy wanted to go for a 2point conversion and the refs gave them a bad penalty to back them up, which forced OT. Still, the refs didn't lose the game for him, HE did by throwing the game winning interception to the other team in OT.

.................I'm waiting for SpeedRush to defend his beloved Cutler after my last post:D ...............

That was an absolute BS call too, and I'm a Gator fan.

Beloved? Not quite.

Seriously though, anyone that watched that game would agree. horrible call.

Leaf? I'd say either Favre or Boller...the're the two likely players he may be liken too.

As far as NFL QB's go........there aren't too many parllells you can draw between Favre and Boller. I know that when Boller came out, people compared him to Favre, but since he's been in the NFL, he's been anything but.

boller is a spitting image of jeff george. workout wonder with a cannon for an arm who never did anything worthwhile in college. george and boller weren't the raw gunslingers that favre is, but cutler is. i believe both favre and cutler were recruited out of high school to play safety, and only one school would play them to QB.

To answer your first question....NO!
The kid is very COACHABLE and if anybody has CHEMISTRY it's Cutler. He was the only chemical bond that held a bad VANDY team together. Where are you getting your info from??? Wherever it is...DITCH IT. It has NO credibility. Almost sounds like it came from Fishypete. :sidelol:

The popular myth with Leaf is that he was a headcase and that's what caused him to end his career so soon. The truth is he destroyed his throwing shoulder and wasn't able to recover from it. The bottom line with him is that though he was a headcase coming into the NFL, the injury ended his career and we'll never know whether he wouldv'e calmed down and become the QB everyone thought he would be
