Is daniel thomas better than Mark ingram?

Are we actively trying to jinx our rooks? We're 3 games in. As an example of the way fortunes turn, we just picked up a player who was cut by his team a few years after having a monster rookie year.

jinxs? isnt that something 8 year olds believe in?

if Marino had running backs throughout his career that ran like dt has ran the past 2 games, dan the man has a couple rings

Who knows if he will be moved to guard when Sparano is gone. But he will be on our o-line for a decade.
yes....despite the man who drafted him being gone, both Long and Pouncey will remain no matter what...

the rest???.....well,not so much.....

Based on these first 3 games, its looking like we had a great great draft and got a real steal in DT in the 2nd round. With gettin DT in the 2nd round we were able to get Pouncey who is going to be our Center for a decade. Ingram is going to be great also but the more i see DT play the more im seeing just what talent this kid has. DT is breaking over 2-3 tackles a run! he is turning 2-3 yards carries into 6-8 yard carries. Its a bit early to say he is better than ingram but im buying it already. Gotta give some props to jeff ireland, he got us a pretty damn good draft this year. What a steal we got in DT.

As for Sproles and the reggie discussion, a bit early also but im leaning towards sproles on this one.

No comment needed ....

I'd still rather have Ingram and Mallett plus 3 extra players than DT and Pouncy at this point.

yeah so not only would henne, or mallett for that matter, who is slow as mollasses, you know that right? so henne or mallett would be on there ars all day even worse than already and Ingram would go nowhere. nowhere. you see, thomas and pouncey kinda go hand in hand. they drafted the guys they thought were sure things. so far, its true. if you see thomas do it again vs. SD and Pouncey continuing to pounce, then we scored in this draft. no way out of it. consistency is something we dont have much of around here.

still waiting for long balls to gates. may take a little longer. which prob explains his draft position.

I never understood the love for Ingram...He' a slower, less talented Ronnie Brown w/ pre-existencing knee injuries...

I always thought D. Thomas was among the most talented backs in the draft, and stats prove that

In 1997 Karim Abdul-Jabbar had 15 rushing tds and 1 receiving
anty odds on Thomas getting 16 tds this season?

In 1996 Jabbar had 1116 yards rushing and 11 tds

Marino and the Dolphins problems were due to bad defenses
watch the downward spiral of the Dolphin defenses with Marino

Thomas has looked good so far and on his runs i do notice #51 usually making a block at the second level.
I don't think you've had a center who could pull and get in the action like this guy. I know it's early but so far so good.

another thing people dont realize is stamina. Pouncey is young, most center cant hold up the hole game like a young gun like pouncey can.

Can you say

The one thing I haven't been able to judge yet is the top gear for either of the two RBs.
