The last pass anyone saw David Fales throw in an NFL game was an interception. It ended a fourth-quarter Miami Dolphins rally in the 2017 finale. It ended the team's losing season on an all too familiar losing note. And it seemingly ended any chance Fales had of figuring in coach Adam Gase's future quarterback plans.
All that is definitely true considering Gase stood in front of reporters on Thursday and said that game, a 22-16 loss, helped him make up his mind about Fales.
"I love the fact that we were able to give him that last game of the season," Gase said with no apology.

I'd be happy with either Fales or Brock as we're not going anywhere anyway if Tannehill goes down which means we'd draft a QB high next year

apparently the QB class next year is terrible, so I wouldn't count on it. We would have another 2 years at least before we get a franchise QB, if Tannehill fails

If Tanny gets hurt again, then you might as well start Fales and probably end up with a top 5 draft pick. Picking up where he left off toward the end of 2016 and getting Miami into the playoffs is what I hope we see happen.

People say this now, but watch in 9 or 10 months when the early draft process starts there will be one or two quarterbacks that everyone is saying could go early round one and is worthy of teams trading up for. When the hype machines start rolling people always buy into the thought that young and new is better than vets or highly touted players drafted a few seasons earlier.

Yes, he will be ... and said so at the end of the year .... of course he could fail in camp, but I doubt it .... I don’t see Osweiller sticking, unless he lights it up ....

Also, see Petty on the PS .... that’ll be our 3 ...

Is Petty PS eligible?

I just want a winner along with a team that wins. I don't care who they or what their name is.

Petty is not practice squad eligible. Fales no doubt is the front runner for the #2 job so it's his job to lose. Osweiler and Petty will battle it out for 3rd string clipboard holder.
