Both 7th round selections (Devin was predicted to go higher though, I don't know about TJ)

They both have about the same measurements
(TJ is 6'1", 197/Devin is 6'2 1/2", 201)

They both have funny last names

The only glaring difference I see between TJ and Devin is that TJ is a possesion guy and Devin is a speedster.

What do you guys think?

Yeah, 2 last names hard to say and spell. But, I hope he is a good WR for us.

I wouldn't object if that's what we get out of him. I have a hard time thinking he will make the team thouhg as a WR. I see him being a 6th reciever if he makes the team, but we have so many recievers with experience.

Hopefully.... TJ dropped the fewest passes of all WR last year...

I think Devin will make it. IMO, the WR set will be (in order)

1. Chris Chambers
2. Marty Booker
3. (Wes Welker/Derek Hagan)*
4. Kelly Campbell
5. Devin Aromashodu

*There was somebody (I think CK) that said that the Dolphins might Derek Hagan and Wes Welker as their number three receiver, and each would go in, depending on the situation, so sometimes, a 3WR set may either contain Chambers/Booker/Welker, or Chambers/Booker/Hagan.

I think this kid will have a tough time making the roster unless he impresses on special teams. That said, he does look good on paper and Saban, of all people, should know having coached and lost against him. Any comments on him coming out of the last camp?

i've said since day when that when they drafted this kid. that he is gonna be the best of this class. He has the speed they need and he has great hands. I have watched him for years in the sec and let me tell if this guy gets into the open field he is gone. Can you imagine it now in 3 years, Chris Chambers, Derek Hagans and Devin Aromashodu....what a pair of wr's we have...Maybe they wil be good enough to be compared to Duper, Clayton and Jensen. I know im getting ahead of myself but you never know.

I have great hope for him. His only job in College (a running team) was to go long. He was NEVER going to get big number there, but he has all the tools.

Nice post man lol. I like the way you're thinking. I don't think Devin gets a real shot this year, but once Marty hangs them up, he could see himself in the top 3 of our WR corps. He is a no risk guy with that 7th round pick so I really like the selction.

I hope hes good so I can say 'Aromashodu' more in my daily life, it puts a smile on my face lol.

Is Devin Aromashodu the next TJ Houshmanzadeh?

In a perfect world, sure.

But odds are that he is more likely the next John Capel, Reggie Germany, Chris Taylor, Ken-Yon Rambo, Richard Flowers, Quentin McCord or Andre King (the other WR's drafted in the 7th round in 2001).

The only thing that is close is the funky name. I don't think he will be as good as TJ Housh ya Daddy
