PFF team grades and ranks are based on a combination of individual grades (not as a unit) and include TE's, RB's, and WR's.

This year, they have Miami #30 in pass blocking, with a grade of -54.4. On the run, we are #28, with a grade of -35.5.

Last year, they have Miami #16 in pass blocking, with a grade of -8.3. On the run, we were #30, with a grade of -38.3. Pouncey, Jerry, and Cog got good grades.

Stat wise

This year, we gave up 30 sacks, 42 hits, and 120 hurries. An average of 14 total pressures per game.

Last year, we gave up 51 sacks,42 hits, and 131 hurries. An average of 13.7 total pressures per game.

When you consider Tannehill throwing quicker and shorter, this year I worse. JMO

Numbers were much better before Albert went down. Right now the O-line is playing at the same level as last years O-line IMO. I don't need PFF to tell me what my eyes are telling me to know that much.

Every time I think of Jonathan Martin and Dallas Thomas I think bad thoughts about Jeff Ireland...really bad thoughts.

Seriously though...how do you pick two of the worst OTs possible in the 2nd and 3rd round? Unless you're doing it on purpose I can't conceivably understand how someone can be that bad at spotting talent. He's a freakin NFL terrorist.

Ya know, I may have paid off our bet too soon. There is an outside chance that this year's team may give up more total pressures. :)

Never saw that coming.

pff should allow for a rating where back foot never hits before contact

I knew how bad that dude was...I said as much on here after the draft...major project I said...I doubt he'll see the field his first year. I gave the coaching staff the benefit of doubt that they could turn Egnew into a serviceable player...entirely too much to ask. The thought of some of the crap that guy drafted makes my head hurt.

We traded our 4th, 5th and 7th round picks to move up in the 3rd (#62 overall) to get Daniel Thomas...I remember saying to myself...WHAT?!! You know who was taken #70 overall that year? DeMarco Murray.

Oh they'll give up the pressures but they won't pass the sack numbers lol.

oh i know...i was just saying...but let's also be honest...anyone who saw murray at oklahoma as the alpha he has become in the pros and says they did is lying...the highest grades on this board for that guy were 3rd round cause he was always hurt and didnt run with anywhere near the same pop on contact and physicallity he has in dallas...viewed more here as a change of pace and 3rd down guy then and hell dallas even drafted him where they did as a situational and 3rd down back...although durability issues have followed him to the pros...

and that oline would get any back yardage...they are carrying that entire team...the oline

Our wager was total pressures, not just sacks. :)

Biggest knock I had on Murray was durability...absolutely. Didn't think he'd last an NFL season but I like his vision and ability to cut. He was also a good receiver out of the backfield. Either way you gave up 3 picks to get 1 and they guy wasn't worth it. He traded up for Miller too and I think Miller would have been there when we picked in the 4th round.

I thought it was sacks. Either way, makes no difference to me. You can have all my vCash...I don't use them anyway lol.

yep the guy was hurt ALL THE TIME at oklahoma...that doesnt usually change once you get to the pros...and i completely agree ireland screwed the pooch repeatedly with his draft moves not only the picks but the moves up...hell just about everyone he drafted was at least a round too high or more...sickening stuff...

one of the worst at working the board i've seen...awful
