Simple question really. Id like this pick a lot more if it takes Landry off returns pernamently.

No doubt about it IMO.

If you draft a guy like Drake, your first question and is how am I getting him the ball as often as possible? Returning is def one way he's getting the ball.

I personally have no problem with Jarvis returning though.

definitely on kickoffs . . . Landry's shiftiness on punts could still be used.

He will certainly be tried out on returns. Hope he succeeds as it would add value to the pick. Also may be a gunner on punt returns which would provide even more value.

Do we cut Whalen now we have the 2 rookies.. Receiver and kr PR

Whalen still a great guy to have on this team, even as a #5 WR. Plays special teams and is a reliable backup slot guy behind Landry.

Hazel, barring a great camp, will be out before him.

Hasnt he fumbled multiple times on returns?

I would much rather give Hazel a shot than Whalen

Pretty sure Gase had this in mind when he took him. Only way to really justify the early selection was willingness to utilize his versatility.

Well, he has bad hands and a history of season-ending injuries. He can't pass block so....Sure, we just drafted someone who might be able to take over the return job! I feel so much better now. I was afraid that we would have to wait til UDFAs to find one.
