Denver no early pick, a QB who will look sharp next year just before the POs when his arm goes Chad Pennington and they won't be able to sign Knighton - we aren't the only team with work to do

Elway did for Manning what Denver did for him. He signed a team that Manning could win with and ride off into the sunset, the only difference is the sun sets no matter the outcome and Manning's sunset is dimmer than Elway's. They gave it a shot and that's all you can do, the games have to play out and that outcome is undetermined.

This. He went out this past off season and added players that he thought would get them over the hump. Things were set for Denver to make a run but I honestly believe Denver was looking past the Colts and were mentally in New England all ready.

The D may have been looking past but PM was shot-putting the ball since DEN decided to go heavy with the run

JLC said that PM is DONE - on the radio this morning - he said on the FAN 960 on a call that PM won't come back to simply pad his stats - that PM will be offered all kinds of positions to keep his hunger for winning satisfied

So we can probably count on him coming back then.

I think it was Schefter who reported this morning that Manning has been playing with a torn quad since that block he tried to throw @San Diego. That had to have been affecting him one way or another. I think he'll give it one last go next year and then hang it up. Super Bowl or not.

Don't agree with JLC on everything he says but he is closer to the action than Anyone on here - FACT

i agree.

whether its now or after next year, its clear that peyton manning is not the same qb we have seen over the past years, which makes a ton of sense due to his age.

i think he should come out and state that he will return next year, but also say that 2015 will be his final year in the nfl regardless, just so we do not need to here speculation throughout the year of what he will do.

also, it will give denver notice that they need to start planning for life after manning asap, and not 2-3 years from now.

I can throw from standstill harder and farther than PM did last night and actually going back past Cinci - I think it be a shoulder issue tbh

If not for bad timing from Raheem Moore they would have won the Super Bowl his first year there.

If Elway was a genius he would have hired Terrell Davis to be in the FO with him. Elway never won anything without that guy.

One of my current co-workers worked for Elway's neighbor and said John is a major jerk.

I still recall one article that said John > Dan because JE was an easy going Cali guy & #13 was a surly Pittsburger.... you will need to read this & think as Homer Simpson would.

Howard Griffith should have one of those MVP trophies,

People with Football acumen can see that Elway has screwed himself -

Manning is done and he has a rebuild on his hands

Elway rolled the dice, it didn't pan out. With the way everyone is jumping ship in Denver it seems very suspicious, like they know something we don't... I think manning might be done.
