Is Finheaven ready for a World Championship?

This thread was inspired by FFIC's weekly ("Finheaven is the greatest thing since (insert obscure great object here)" thread linked below.:lol:

Say the Dolphins do go to the Super Bowl and win it sometime in the next 3-5 years. Or let's say we pull a New England an win 3 of the next 4. What would happen to the traffic on this site? It seems to me that on game days, with all the traffic the site can be a little sluggish. Is FH ready? Are you ready? I am.

Honestly, I don't anyone would be able to post anything.:lol:

I used to live in West Palm Beach. I still have family and go there alot.What part you live in?

It'll have to get some more servers. There will be alot of bandwagon fans in the next five years. This place will be swamped

my family was the first to prove up on their homestead patent on Lake Worth, and I am on the Board of Directors for the Lake Worth Pioneer Association.

I lived in both Lake Worth and West Palm. Taught at Palm Beach Lakes just as it moved from the hill in WPB. Grandpa moved to WPB in the 1920's. That place sure has changed in the last 50 years. You also must remember "The Hut."
 
Yea I remember when I first moved to West Palm, the population was not so bad but that place damn near seems like Miami right now in population. Especially coming off I-95.
 
The more fans that join and donate, the stronger the site can be. A.J can only do so much, he needs help from all those that use and enjoy Finheaven. It's the quality posters that make this site so great, but it's the monetary contributions that keep it going. There are more than 12,000 members. If each person could contribute $4.00 a year, that would give A.J. $48,000 a year to upgrade the site and make improvements as needed. If a 1/4 of the members would become VIP members that would be over $72,000 available for improvements. The only way to make the site faster and better for the future is with better hardware and software. All this cost money, not everybody can contribute but those of us that can, should. $2.00 a month is not a lot to ask for a site that most of us spend much more than $2,00 worth of time at.
