It might be time to just let him go next year and take our lumps. Considering the sideshow called Miko is attached to Grimes is it worth the trouble?
Are there other NFL player spouses that are getting arrested at the stadium or firing away on social media like this?
At some point wouldn't it be prudent to have a sit down with this woman and let her know that her behavior is becoming a liability.
I bet Miko would be the last one to connect those dots makes you wonder if Brent is the sharpest tool in the shed.
 
nope, suspend him week 17 without pay. Then try and trade him to the NFC or to the Browns and send Miko to Cleveland
 
It would be ground breaking if we cut him today because of her.

No to both: it needs to be sent packing with its soft "husband" (or is it "wife"?)
 
The Dolphins will be bad with or without him next season. No point in paying an aging CB with declining skills what he will be making. Doubt he will restructure and his wife causes too much of a distraction that its not even worth trying. Let him go because by the time this team is ready to compete his career will be pretty much over. Team will be in rebuild mode for the next 3-4 years.

Cut him in the most prudent way possible for the franchise. He can't be back. Take Shelby with him. These are guys you can't be in a foxhole with.
 
Under his current contract, I would say no. He is making a high amount for a CB who has diminishing skills and specializes in zone. However, letting him go just opens another hole for us.

I would have him renegotiate his contract. If he is unwilling, I would release him, with the assumption I can find a replacement for what he was making in free agency or through the draft.
 
I don't hate her, but she should be fingered by a porcupine.
 
The Grimes should not be a part of this team. His wife's trash mouth over shadows his diminishing skills. His contract is too expensive for his value to the team.
Easy decision.
 
Maybe for a slot coner. Grimes is done. He got burned alot this year. Mike thinks it's Tannehill fault her hubby went downhill. I like Lippett. Dude can be solid.
 
Brent won't be back next season. 1) he can't control his wife. 2) he isn't doing an $8 million a season job for us. 3) We need the cap room.
