Pass Rusher...opposite of Wake was a need
TE...might be a a possible replacement for Fasano

Possible but it'll be nice to see them all playing at once. Im sure will keep at least 2 out of the 3 when time comes

We haven't won with the so called top 5 talent at 2 positions so why not save the 80 million plus it would take to sign Wake,Long and even Fasano
so what do we do at WR? IMO WR was a much bigger need than TE.. are we tanking 2012 to get a #1 WR in 2013? because we will not be competitive in anyway without a WR. We'd be more competitive without a TE than without a WR

Ridiculous post.... We're trying to build an O-Line for the next 8-10 years.. Wake has a good 5 + years left at a high level. Fasano is expandable now...

Youre not serious are you? We'd be lucky to get 4 years tops out of him. They havent even extende him yet if tat tells you how many years they think he has left

Do we only need one side of the offensive line? How much complaining was done on these boards about our right side last year?
Do we only need one side of the defensive line? How much complaining was done about needing an opposite side rusher to take the heat off Wake?
How much complaining has been done about Fasano disappearing during stretches of games and dropping passes?
Frankly, when I saw the pick I thought... there's Jermichael Finley.
We finally address these problems and now.... more complaining. SHOCKING!

I heard Ireland address re-signing Wake on the radio yesterday, and he was emphatic and confident about re-signing him. It's a non-issue, and will be done soon enough.

#3 you don't know if Wake can last for 5 more years

They CAN'T extend him until after Longs contract is negotiated which will clear cap room for Wake for 2012 that's currently tied up. When Long works out a long term deal it will free cap room for this season. Not signing Wake has zero to do with what they think of him.

Fasano's days may be numbered, but I figure Long and Wake will be here for awhile.
