This year I had high hopes but it is what it is.But this years been hard to watch. We have some players that's not committed to win the tape don't lie.

He’s asking whether it’s harder on fans when we intentionally suck and go into a season hopeless (for example, when we tanked for Tua) or when we are “all in” but end up sucking unintentionally (for example, this season).

His view appears to be that a season like this one is harder on fans. I agree with him.

Very hard to come up with a rational explanation of why it makes sense to continue caring about the Dolphins during a season like this.

For me it doesn’t really matter if we tank in on purpose or if we’re all in and than end up sucking. What matters is if we have a top pick in either scenario do I trust the person in charge to make the right selection in getting a blue chip future all pro caliber player to help the team. The answer is no! When’s the last time we drafted an all pro player? Howard back in 2016?? We should be loaded with drafted talent based on how many 1st and 2nd rounds picks we had from the Tunsil trade. As far as I’m concerned every year is a tank year until they fire Grier.

I suppose this season is harder since we should be better than this on paper. At least we knew what we were getting into in 2019 and it was supposed to have a purpose, unfortunately Grier botched it.

Sadly, this team just keeps finding ways to lose. When the offense actually plays well, the defense doesn't hold up etc. Mistakes have cost this team games.

It's where Miami goes from here that matters and that's what's concerning. Will the Dolphins make the right moves?

We could easily be 5-2 if Tua didn't get concussed in week 2. If we had last years roster we probably would be.

When we play good teams though we still can't compete with them. That will probably be proven again tomorrow.

Not gonna lie, when thread titles are an afterthought, I take that as a call to action for the 11 year old me still lurking within myself....

🤷‍♂️

Maybe Miami puts a complete game together?

Josh Allen has almost always played well against the Dolphins, but the Bills are due for a down game.

On paper, hard to see Miami in this one but you never know. The Dolphins need it more, otherwise the season is lost.

My recollection of the "tank for Tua" season was that the Dolphins were the only team intere4sted in using a Top 20 pick to draft him. Similar to the recent contract extensions, Miami seems to consistently bid against themselves to over draft and, or over pay for players.

Miami seems to have a country club mentality at the moment. Rich Guys just hanging out having fun and not being serious about the game.

Until that mentality ends, not much will change in terms of end result.

Prove that no other team would not have taken Tua in the top 20. You make up more sh*t than any other poster on this site.
