think parcell has something up his sleeves by drafting two cb? I honestly think he will trade Jason Allen and will Allen in tomorrows draft for picks.....while eric green becomes the starter and vonte and Sean smith compete for a starting position.....do anyone else thinks the same?
 
Jason Allen yes. Will Allen no. Will may not be re-signed next year but I don't think they will risk 2 rookies starting on the corners.
 
not 2 rookies signing, i think eric green will start and either Sean smith or vonte Davis gets the other starting position while the other plays nickel
 
Am i the only one that wants Smith to be a safety?
 
Ummmmmmm... I hate to break this to you, but Jason Allen will not be traded. Not because we still want him, but because he has no trade value. Jason Allen will be cut. And so will John Beck btw. Both of them completely blow as I have been trying to tell you and everyone else.

Yet, we draft 2 corners in the first 2 rounds and sign a FA corner when we lost Goodman, and people still seem to want to believe these players are at least good enough to be traded.

Sometimes players just blow and they arent worth anything ya know. Most people around here think every player on our roster has trade value or something.

He clearly doesn't turn and run with the fast WRs very well, he's a little slower then most corners (at least in transition), and he can't change directions well. All of which would make him a better prospect as a safety.

The Miami beat writers seem to think there is a market for John Beck. If Parcells could find a taker for Travis Daniels and Josh McCown, then he can certainly grab a late round pick for Johnny Beck.
 
Mel blount (Pittsburgh steelers) and Nnamdi Asomugha(oakland raiders) coming out of college didnt have perfect hips either coming out of college but with the right coaches. Mel blounts in the hall of fame and Nnamdi Asomugha is surely going to be in there when he retires
 
and hes not slower then most corners at all he is extremely fast, 4.4 and sometimes it looks like a 4.2, so he is not slow at all.......honestly, serious question, have you ever watched his games???
his only problem is turning his hips in pursuit, that can be fix, every rookie will have flaws, and not able to turn his hips in time is his flaws

i can bet with you, he can cover T.o, may have a lil trouble covering moss but still cover moss well, and cover jets cotchery, especially if our defense give pressure on the qb
