Is it just me or is anyone else rooting for Pat White to make a team

I love a comeback story.

I just feel Sparano and the Dolphins kinda almost ruined this guys NFL chances with how he was used and the fan base also turned on him because of where we drafted him. The reality in hindsight is that we should not have drafted him at #2 but that is not his fault. He was also so skinny out of college and the plan for him as a secret weapon/wildcat QB/back was just dumb with the size of Defenses in the NFL.

The best he could really hope for is a #3 spot on a team but I am rooting for him to make a team. Even if its the Bills.

I know many Dolphins fans turned on Pat White and I think it was never fair to the kid. Many fans also Turned on Ricky Williams and then later came back to love him. If I remember correctly Pat White and Ricky had a similar awkwardness in interviews and quiet nature.

It's just you. I think that guy is a waste. He doesn't belong on a pro football field. He looked small and scared. The fact that
he quit football doesn't help.

ETA; Don't get me started on Ricky Williams. I don't hold men that think pot is more important than teammates and family
in very high regard.

I watched the game vs the Bills and I have to say he truely is a different player. Would like to see him against better defense but he has killed the defenses he has faced in the preseason games. Doubt he sticks on that roster, with Cousins and RG1 in front on him but I think he gets picked up. He is the perfect 3rd QB who can run a zone read for the scout team to get a team ready to face a zone read team. He can play in the league, but maybe not as a starter. He is a totally different player than the player we drafted. Kinda like Cam Wake is a different player than the player the giants brought to camp his first year.

I agree. I'm rooting for the kid. he's bigger now, seems stronger and I think he'll make the redskins.

I love how everyone holds it against Pat White for leaving the league after his concussion, but everyone was rooting for Ryan Swope and wished him the best.
