I am a big sport fan in just about all of the major sports sans hockey. I love college basketball and was estatic that my beloved tarheels won a national championship this past season. But I would trade that championship for a dolphin playoff birth!!!!!! None of the other sports even come close to my obsession with the dolphins or NFL Football. I don't really even fill alive until the start of training camp.

My question is; would anyone else rather watch an NFL Preseason game than game 7 of the World Series or the NBA Finals? I like both of those sports, but man if the Spurs/Pistons series was on at the same time as a Cardinals/Bengals preseason game, I'd probably watch the football. :goof:

IF it was a Fins game, I may agree with you. But a Cardinals/Bengals game I don't think so.

Any NFL preseason game over the World Seris but not over the NBA Finals. I watch every game of the NBA Finals especially since the Pistons have been playing the last two seasons. I would watch a Dolphin preseason game over an NBA Final game but only if I didnt care for the two teams playing.
 
i would trade it in for anything upset if the the heat were playin in the NBA Championship game

Last year I made a deal with the devil that the Phins could finish below .500 so long as George Bush wasn't in the White House for the 06' season.

Stupid deals with the devil, never holding up his end o' the deal. Stupid devil.

I would have been the equivalent of Rick Spielman in that regard, agreeing to a dozen or more consecutive Dolphin losing seasons if it guaranteed a semblance of competence and political honesty at 1600 PA. But I knew it wouldn't happen. Fear is the ultimate trump card and 9/11 spawned at least a decade of pure fear.
 
Any word on OT Rogers (cut by Dallas)?

Does any one know when the waiver period is over and Dallas can re-sign him to the injured reserve? I figure it would be over sometime late this afternoon.

Game 7 I probably wouldn't miss if it wasn't the dolphins on. NBA Finals I would miss. S

He's been injured twice in 2 years, no one will pick him up, at least this year. Wait till he's healthy and give him a look next season.
