I know there were some grumblings on here about how in his interview he didn't seem happy but I am not seeing him smiling and such on the sidelines. He has been pretty stout so far but I am wondering if in the back of his mind he is worried about reverting back to the guy in early 2000's.

Just an observation and probably just am reading into more than what is there...I think it is more of a concern I have considering his past.

He is breathing heavy. Hes doubling his work load and responsibilities. He is delivering. Thats what matters man.

If Lex has a couple more runs like he had then Ricky may not be the center of attention after the game. Porter might too if he gets another sack.

you actually makea good point. he's not a spotlight, look at me type of guy. just the opposite

While this is true he always seemed to be upbeat on the sidelines. Now he is just sitting there almost like he is like "damn here we go again"...

I saw Ricky breathing heavy and drinking from his cup with a shakey hand. I looked at it like a guy that is pumped and the adrenaline is flowing through his veins.

So much has been said about this guy and perhaps he wants to show a few people that he is still a great rb and yes i'm sure he is excited but as people have pointed out Ricky aint a look at me kinda player. He does his own thing and is happy to take a back seat to everything.

Nothing silly here but smoking the green makes you more self concious and therefore you dont want all the attention on yourself. Obviously Ricky don't smoke no more but its hard to just lose. Especially combined with his conditon.

Oh and he is playing great :)

He only has to carry the load (minus the carries to Hilliard) for half of a year. Next year Ronnie will be back and everything will be fine.

Yes you are reading too much into it. RW is an enigma and will talk to the media when he feel like it. He is just fine. In fact, better than fine.

I saw him laughing and chatting with Henne towards the end there. Premature ejaculation post here....

He definently isnt a showboater and thats what I like about him. I think it is that he is happy but is probably trying to not get to excited and just keep his composure.

I think Ricky is going to be enjoying it just fine. I'm sure that for him, he's just trying to do the best he can to focus on the game, as he now has a lot more responsibility carrying the load than it was playing second fiddle.

Let him go out there and do his thing. He doesn't showboat or do anything thats going to make people talk about him. He was smiling on the sideline after when he was with people you can tell he's comfortable with
