Is it me or has the Matt Ryan fan club invaded the board?

I'm confused.

These boards would be pretty boring if everyone agreed.

Yes, there are a lot of Ryan supporters. So what? I don't want the guy either, but I'm not bothered by those who want us to draft him. In fact, I think its great that they are so enthusiastic about him.

You mean those of us who support ACTUAL Dolphin players and who would like to see young players be developed, instead of prematurely kicking them to the curb after incomplete analysis. :foundout::foundout:

1) Beck is still on the team so he obviously impressed Parcells more than Lemon.

2) Four games is not enough time to label a player a "stud" or a "bust."

3) If a team goes 1-15, and just happens to be a bad call and a bad kick away from 0-16, how the hell can anyone expect that a rookie that wasn't supposed to ever start this year, was held to an exceptionally plain vanilla offense, had a weak running game, a worn-down offensive line, a rookie #1 receiver, a veteran receiver who just didn't seem to care anymore, and defenses that just lined up the blitz play after play look like Dan Marino?

4) Why spend the #1 overall pick on a position where we may be set when you can actually get OL help, so blitzing on every play isn't an option or get DL help so that a teams second-string RB can't run for 200 yards in a half especially when you can pick up another QB later and not have to pay him 60 million bucks to sit a year?

All of the above are common sense.

We all have our favorites. I love vanilla ice cream, but it doesn't mean everyone else does.

That's what makes these forums worthwhile. We each have our own thoughts on who Parcells should draft or bring to our team.

Just as long as it is Jake Long, all's well. :up:

really? so u have not made any "cut derek hagan" comments? are u telling me that u were a daunte culpepper supporter last offseason? were u supporting orlindo mare last offseason? have u been supporting d martin at TE? hmmm? smell hypocrisy?

dude, john beck absolutely SUCKS! im a dolphin fan, a BIG one at that....and I absolutely can't stand one more drive with john beck at the helm....the guy would put me to sleep if it weren't how angry he made me. :lol:
