Gus = Gannon but only in age. Gannon a good example of how a team tried to find a short cut to the superbowl. yes they made it one year but gannon's age and injuries caught up to them the next year. We need to follow the Patsies lead and find a young qb that can build around for more than one season.

Im excited about GUS. he will be a good caretaker until we get a QB of the future.

Gus has a much stronger arm than Gannon ever did. Gannon was more accurate and more mobile. IMO they both fit they're respective systems. In his breakout year Gannon made a lot of plays and was very smart with the football. Gannon was much smarter with the football than he'd shown in the past. It's possible that if Gus is smarter with the football than he has been in the past he could have a Gannon like year.
