Is it possible the FO wants Manning but would be very happy w/Flynn (seriously)??

I'm not saying they don't want Manning first but they maybe ok if he choose another team. We haven't heard much details about our contact with Manning only what the media is speculating & let's face it most of them like to put us in a bad light. It makes obvious sense to look into signing him look at the other 2 teams that are "finalist" last year both teams were considerd to have thier Qb of the future & they are looking to replace them already granted with a HOF so I don't blame them. Philbin knows Flynn better than anyone & Flynn knows the system & is only 26 so IF we lose out on Manning it may still be a WIN for us. My hope is we do land Manning but if not I'd be excited if we got Flynn & I think our FO would feel the same if Philbin believes in Flynn.
 
Sign Flynn, not a lot of interest at first.

Start to win, the people will show eventually.

In with Flynn.

But whoever the head coach thinks gives him the best chance to win, now and in the future...that's who I want as well.

I think so. I think we are still the favorites. Denver is the outside chance.

Denver is not looking to get Flynn. Arizona is not looking to get Flynn.
 
I hope that is what they're thinking...that's what I want. Manning first, Flynn as a fallback option.
 
honestly, reading between the lines I'm under the impression that if we don't get Manning, we aren't even going to sniff Flynn. Everything I've heard states Philbin wants to build through draft.
 
I think we have a 50-50 shot right now that we get him. I am nervous bc even though we all know Ross desperately wants Manning, Philbin might really want Flynn. And if the head coach isn't willing to really bend over for Manning, Manning goes where one will. Philbin obviously wants his younger guy that knows his system and will buy into his system.
