If our game is moved to a later time next week and we already know that the Pats have won, eliminating the Jets no matter what.
Do you guys think its possible that Mangini throws the game knowing that it will keep Belichick and the Pats out of the playoffs? Just had to ask since the thought crossed my mind.

Why not? .. he's already gone after this year anyways

But that's not how it works.

No. I don't buy it. Come Sunday, the Jets players are going to be fired up regardless if whether they're eliminated or not. Teams always play to win.

Ya'll worried about next week?

I'm kinda thinking.. The jets can't "sweep" parcells and company? can they? The pats didn't sweep us.... and they are much better than the jets. Idk.. I see miami winning.. I hope.. Ya never know.

They'll either be demoralized and not care, or incredibly pissed and want to take it out on the Fins. I'm guessing it would be the latter.

I know Coles Really misses pennington. I'm sure a lot of jets players don't like favre because He alone is getting ALL the credit for their success... I hope they are demoralized..

They will come to play, but they won't have what it takes to beat us. They will be outcoached and out played.

Unfortunately, I think you're right. Years ago when the jets were crap they'd still give us a hard time. After a close loss at the Orange Bowl Shula said he wasn't surprised that they were able to beat us, it's that they weren't able to beat anybody else.

The jets will bring a fight with them and we'll have our hands full. The jets hate our guts, and always have. We've beaten them handily in the past, but I can't say I remember them showing up flat very often.

I hope we prepare for a war with the jets, and then we won't be caught unprepared if one should break out.
