Dolphins sign Jake Long to a NFL veteran minimum contract, and then switching him over to guard. Sure will be cheap. Thoughts?

Can he still play? I think he has too many injuries. Not a bad idea, anyways.

If he has anything left in his tank, I would like to see him brought in. So how much did St. Louis end up paying him?

Don't have a clue. I no he is hurt but maybe he can play guard. IMO we need 2 Guards. Just gunna be mediocre on the Left and can be below average on the Right. Lol

He should have something left in the tank. Because man, guys only 30 years old.

He was actually playing really well before the injury. I won't pretend to know how he bounces back after the recent injury though. I've always had a feeling most of his injurys were due to a lot of steroid abuse, he might of burned his body out at this point.

But once he can pass a physical, I'd take a shot on him, even as depth, insurance for Albert, he would be great. Can't imagine it would cost much.

Means nothing. Four years ago when we let him go he had nothing left and was grossly overpaid. He cannot help us

If his pride would let him do that and the money was right Id bring him in for depth/LG. Doubt he wants to go from #1 overall to depth though.

Give it a rest. He was washed up three years ago. The Dolphins got lucky that he didn't sign an extension with them three seasons ago.

Haha no way. Rather throw money away on a $100 hooker than go around Jake again. His body didn't last long in this league.

The prior regime really screwed his career playing him when he was injured, when he should have been shut down!
