Is it time to add kicking to Miami’s list of early-season concerns?

So it’s official.

Jason Sanders is the new Dolfans punching bag while Tua is out and Iggy is mostly on the sidelines.

He’s the reason for our lot in life. Sorry, he and Liam Eichenberg apparently.

Unreal.
Special teams in general not just sanders has been a huge early concern for Miami

As long as he makes the game winning fg in the super bowl this year all will be forgiven.
If he does, it will be for another team, " 'cause these here Fins ain't sniffin' no super bowl!"

No doubt his kicking is a bit of concern along with our defense

Why not? The NFL is littered with teams that came out of nowhere to win a SB. 1999 Rams, 2001 Pats, 2011 Giants, 2017 Eagles. I watch every season with the hope (sometimes really really small hope but hope nonetheless) that this is the year we make the playoffs get hot at the right time and make it to the Bowl. Except when we had Chad Henne that guy sucked.

Not sure why ur taking this so personally, the guy has stopped making meaningful kicks. I, as much as you, wish he wasn’t a problem but a trend has started since last year and 1/4 of the way into this year it’s creeping it’s ugly head again.
Here’s hoping he goes on a run but that missed kick on Sunday changed the complexion of the game, he needs to make those as one of the highest paid kickers in the NFL.

Without seeing comparative stats I feel Sanders is around middle of the pack as a kicker. Not so bad except that he's one of the highest paid kickers in the league. We can't really get out of his contract till end of 2023 so all we can do is hope he can get back to his old form. History tells us he's capable.

3rd most expensive kicking contract in the league belongs to Sanders.

I would say his history shows he's middle of the pack, as someone had posted. His 2019 wasn't very good, his 2020 was very good, 2021 wasn't.

Love your enthusiasm, but this Fins team is bad on many fronts, including a rookie head coach who is trying to find his way. We all drank the kool-aid, as we over-rated this team. The chickens have come home to roost...crap OL, bad running game, piss-poor defense, horrendous special teams. Now without Tua, I don't see the Fins winning a game.

Iggy stinks. One of the top 5 worst Fins draft picks of all time. At least Dion Jordan and that bum Charles Harris actually saw the field.

He had that one great year and Dan Carpenter was ok at one time
