seeing that marty got canned in s.d. i wonder if lofton would come here...he could be our offensive cordinator...i know the phins have terry robskie as the wrs coach i believe so why not lofton if he is still free..i know this year and last year he interviewed for hc coaching jobs in buffalo and oakland so why not ? another thing i like add i do think terry shea would make for a fine qb coach..i think 2 many people r putting emphasis on his hc job at rutgers...just like people did with cam at IU...shea is more then qualified and i think he would fit here perfectly and to be honest i think he is a better coach jason garrett...

I dunno, but it is an interesting thought for sure. Cam might have been unwilling to raid Marty's staff, but nothing to hold him back now.

u know whoever the new hc there will be will most likely want his own staff so im hoping thats the case...

I think this scenario is quite possible since the next coach will want his own staff. You might be on to something here. I've heard Lofton's name tossed around in the forums. What's his history? Does he have a good relationship with Cam?

i think that any questions about cam and his realtionship with people always comes out looking good...he seems to be a genuine ,nice guy and i think he would work well with lofton here...from what our coaches have said about him he seems down to earth and a people's person

another added bonus i just thought about with lofton would be that he knows what cam expects of him, having worked with him i think thats another plus...

In my opinion, whatever they were doing over there in SD on offense I want here in Miami. They put up alot of points. Bring over those offensive coaches.

I don't really see why everyone is so high on James Lofton. It isn't like he did a whole lot with his receivers in San Diego. Granted, there wasn't a whole lot of talent there at wideout, but I felt like Eric Parker had potential and he kind of underwhelmed last year. I doubt he would do a worse job than Mularkey, but I'd like to see who else is available before bringing him in as OC.
