Is Jared Odrick still on the team?

I just found out that "Jared Odrick" really isn't his name. His real name is Vince Gugliamo and he's in a witness protection program so they made him a DE and put him on the Dolphins roster where no one would find him.
 
I think you could replace his name in this thread with 95% of the team.
 
odrick has had some good plays, but the dline and pass rush has been nowhere to be found
 
I am sure he in on a stretcher somewhere with an injury.
 
looks like another crappy 1st round pick to me. This guy has not made an impact at all. Hopefully he is just not quite back from his injury yet and will still become a beast. Doubt it

Let's see, the other first rounders have been Long (three pro bowls), Vontae Davis (developed very well in spite of this year's early struggles and is a solid corner) and Pouncey who's looked quite good considering his first game was against two pro bowl interior d-linemen. Given that Odrick missed almost the entire year last year AND actually had a pick against Brady, perhaps we can give the guy that's played all of what, 4 GAMES in the NFL? - a break. Get your facts straight.
 
Flashes a little in camp and pre-season and then disappears during the season. Will make a play here or there, but will spend more time on IR than the field. Another wasted 1st round pick it appears.
 
I should rewatch the game (though I'd really rather not) but it seemed as though Odrick was barely out there. Olshansky seemed to get more burn. I don't know how many snaps Odrick's seeing. His stat line against Cle was blank. I would consider he's being misused since Olshansky came in off the street and immediately got playing time on our crowded Dline. I'm constantly suspicious at the competency of our coaching staff.

I agree, I have a major problem with this kind of stuff. Look I don't get to follow every team closely but it seems like when we get an injury we being in someone off the streets and they play while other teams play the guys they chose to keep on final cut down day and sign another guy for depth. I think the Dolphins are cheap or something.

Thats easy. Odrick never played for Dallas, so of course a street FA Dallas castoff would move ahead of a Dolphins 1st round pick.

I dont know if it's that they're cheap or they just make you wonder what the hell was going on during training camp. The decisions seem very scattered and disconnected from any kind of plan.

Is Jared Odrick, Karlos Dansby, Kevin Burnett, Sean Smith, Vontae Davis, Koa Misi, Cameron Wake.. etc.. still on the team? If your going to call out one guy (who actually made a play) for disappearing, might as well be truthful and call out every single player on the defense.. I mean seriously.
