Is Jason Allen going to finally push for a starting job in the near future?

He'll be pushing for a starting job on another team if he doesn't hurry. The only bigger money thief on this team besides Wilford is Allen.

It's disgusting to think of a guy who's 6'1" 200+, is very athletic and runs sub 4.4's in the 40 and yet he can't get on the field. And considering he's a 1st round pick it's even more disturbing.

I think they are just waiting for him to settle a little more. He's only been back at CB for a few weeks and it takes a little time.

Only our players seem to take years to develop when they switch positions they have already played previously. people can blame what they want for Allen not performing but its all Jason.

The Raiders did the same thing with Nnamdi (coaching carousel and all). When they finally let him sit in one spot for five seconds he did very well.

j allen would be a great cb, ask sparano he seems to be talking up jason allen. also did people not c last season? allen was a beast, matter fact, led us in ints

If Jason Allen played that good overall he would be playing.

This is probably his LAST chance. I can't see him starting again if he ends up benched or switched out of position after this.

What bothers me most is that Antonio Cromartie was picked 2 slots after Jason Allen - if not for Saban's infatuation with JA and missing on recruiting him to LSU, what coach wouldn't have picked Cromartie in a heartbeat?

Just another in a long line of wasted first round picks.
